The Leaves Project: Collecting Memories

I love experimenting with ceramics. This project started with one of these experiments when I decided to try to apply slip on some plants I had at home. It was during the pandemic and I didn’t have anyone around to say something like “it won’t work”, “can’t be too thin”, therefore it worked!

I made the slip from the clay I had, fired to cone 04 and then painted with acrylic ink.

It was a great way to work through a tough time after I lost my father.
